The beach life chose me 🤗

Maldives isn’t our honeymoon btw. It’s just one of our work trip! Nevertheless, thank you everyone for your blessings!! 😘

Was strolling along the beach and chances upon this crochet hammock which is 😍😍 mad comfy and I made Husband Sim swing me back and forth like a baby!! Hahahaha

Instagram worthy I must say!! Haha partial credits goes to my Instagram Husband whom was slogging behind the scenes to get me the perfect shot 😁

Okay my only complaint of Maldives would be the HORRIBLE FOOD. We went for the lunch buffet and for 20usd (discounted rate for crew)…. it was a total waste of money. I barely ate considering how much the both of us were anticipating the buffet even before we left sg 😣 i had only two bowls of seafood chowder soup + 1 1/2 bread rolls 🙃🙃🙃 ughhhhz

Lucky enough, we kinda anticipated that we’ll be snacking and brought popcorns and biscuits! lesson is: BRING UR OWN FOOD TO MALDIVES ✌🏻

After lunch we walked around the resort to digest our food. Everywhere is so pretty!! Even the jetty where we got on and off the boat to the airport is 😍

Loved the crystal clear waters and we could see schools of little nemo’s!! Also, I highlighted to Husband Sim that the hut behind would make a perfect place to do a solemnization… imagine it being all done up, walking down the “aisle” 😍 #dayrebrides can consider if you’ve got the Budget!!!

Okay and what is Maldives without soaking in the blue waters? Sadly the tide was high in the afternoon and I didn’t manage to take the Instagram worthy sign that all crew does! Hahahaha my feet were barely touching the floor and I was clinging on to the hammock, trying to keep afloat for this pic 🤣

Paradise 🙈

It was scorching hot that afternoon!! Though we were only out for an hour or so, both of us were like red lobsters!!!

To avoid getting red any further, we went back to our villa and decided to just chill and relax. We were also getting very tired from the sun and the thought of having to work overnight back to Singapore got us like 😪🙃☹️

YES, had to fully utilise the amenities in the room so we rinsed ourselves in the private outdoor rain shower! 💦

The stay SQ provides is Super short but we made the most out of it. Really enjoyed myself despite the fact that we’re working!

Guess this gotta be one of the TOP 5 fav trips I’ve done with Husband Sim!! ❤️ all the photos are taken by him btw, must say his photo skills has levelled up! I told him I wanted to #dayre this trip and wanted truckloads of photos so he was extra diligent in finding the perfect spot to spam photos. Hehe thanks baoz ❤️

I finally understand the Maldives hype amongst honeymooners! It’s the perfect getaway to destress and relax yet breathtaking and amazing. I hope to come back here again!! Not during work though, but a proper vacation. The colours and views 😍😍 it’s like heaven on earth.

So Husband Sim, if you’re reading this..
