Reality still hasn’t set in for us!

Okay this trip to China is really all about eating. I eat like 3 meals a day!!! + supper! Omg 🙈 Don’t think I’ve got the courage to step on the weighing scale when I’m back… and hopefully my kebaya fits 😵

Had this beef/fishball noodle soup right after touch down. The noodles is Super good…. exactly like Bedok 85’s bar Chor mee. Without the bar chor though! And the meatballs are tender and juicy! Kinda miss the juice squirting out the beef balls….. srsly 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

And we had these dishes with our noodles. Wah! The pig intestines are the best I’ve ever had!!! It’s thick and fatty.

Dinner we had a couple of dishes from a random store. This 3 egg dish is ❤️. Think chawamushi with soy sauce 🤗🤗🤗🤗 mummy says we need The Maid to learn how to cook this for us. Ahhhhhh~~ China food is damn good and cheap

Soy sauce chix and the squirrel fish 😍 okay generally I like to eat fish… but only Chinese Teochew steam style. But this squirrel fish gotta be my new fav fried fish! Reminds me of pu tian’s version at 1/3 of the price

Gotta rave abt this Chong Qing hot pot! Reminds me of hai di lao with quaint tableware. We ordered so much!!! And got a shock that it’s actually damn cheap! $35 for 4 ppl!!!!???? Where to get such steamboat in sg!

The mala was unmanageable…Only Husband Sim can take such numbing spice 😪

And fresh from my phone, we just queued for this smelly tofu in charcoal! Okay… I’m not really a fan of smelly tofu but once u get pass the smell and put it in your mouth to chew, it’s all good.

Only 10yuan! And there are accompaniments for it! 👍🏻

We didn’t do that much shopping yet as bulk of it will be tmr! Will be back with more of my stupid knick knacks. I’m gonna search for a backscratcher lol…. I’m dying for one

Ending this post with Husband Sim trying to order food from the waiter. Both of our mandarin CANNOT MAKE IT. Cant emphasise further on that… so we rely on pictures to do food ordering and name cards for taxi’s. 🙈🙈😁😁
